Privacy policy
This explains what we collect and what we do with it. Million Seconds is operated by Giovanni Scollo in Panama City, Panama.
The short version: we collect your email so we can send you your purchase, and whatever you choose to publish on your block. We don't sell your data to anyone.
What we collect
- Your email address, which you give us at checkout. We use it to send your receipt, your seconds, and the private link to edit your block.
- What you publish — your display name, handle, message, image, or link. This is public by design.
- Purchase records — which seconds you bought, when, and for how much.
- Basic usage data — pages visited, approximate country, device type, and where you arrived from.
What we never collect
We do not receive or store your card number, CVV, or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment providers on their own systems.
What is public
Anything you publish on your block is public and can be seen, screenshotted, indexed by search engines, and shared by anyone. Please don't put anything on your block that you wouldn't want permanently visible.
Your email address is never shown publicly.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run this:
- Payment providers, to process your payment
- Our email provider, to send you your receipt and your link
- Our hosting and analytics providers
We may also share information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax obligations. Published content stays up as long as your block exists. If we shut the site down, we delete personal data we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to hello@themillionseconds.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Deleting your personal data means your block stops displaying your name and content. It does not un-sell the seconds or trigger a refund.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, including Panama's Law 81 of 2019 on personal data protection, the GDPR in Europe, or the UK GDPR. We apply the above to everyone regardless of location.
Cookies
We use only what's needed to make the site work and to count visits. We don't use advertising cookies and we don't track you across other websites.
Age
This site is not intended for anyone under 18. Don't buy seconds if you're under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, write to us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top.
